Background; Parents are full-born Japanese but they divorced a long time ago. She went with her mother to America, where she remarried and ended up getting a sibling who's half American. During her early teen years, they decide to move back to Japan and this worried her. Having read a couple shoujo mangas (lent to her by a friend who's into anime) about how people who were different were severely bullied in Japanese school, she was having major hallucinations about her sister getting picked on.

This is what motivated her to join a martial arts class. (Maybe the teacher was being sexist?? orz I durno.) She was first denied of her request to join, reasons to this day are still unknown. Before they could kick her out, she grabbed scissors nearby how convenient |D and cut her hair off (Proof of her giving up her femininity; she treasured it a lot when she still considered herself a girl). "Please teach me the way of martial arts," she said as she went down on her knees.

Nowadays, she doesn't really use martial art techniques and does free-style fighting. Her style is to rely on her speed, not her strength (since she has a slim body).
